Painting with Inessa
Beyond the Ordinary
Painting with Inessa: Beyond the Ordinary
Five guided lessons. Two finished botanical paintings. Made entirely by your own hand.
You won’t just finish two paintings — you’ll notice a leaf, a colour, an afternoon, differently. That doesn’t switch off when the course does.

“The Elegance of Openness” — Inessa Falina
You don’t have to be an artist to create beautiful botanical paintings.
Have you ever looked at a flower, a leaf or a piece of fruit and wished you could capture its beauty on paper?
Perhaps you’ve always wanted to paint but believed you simply weren’t artistic enough.
Perhaps life became so busy that your creativity was quietly left behind.
Or perhaps you’re looking for something that brings a little more calm, joy and purpose into your week.
If any of that sounds familiar, this course was created for you.
Painting with Inessa: Beyond the Ordinary is much more than learning to paint flowers.
It is an invitation to slow down, notice the extraordinary beauty hidden in everyday nature and discover a creativity that has been within you all along.
Whether you are picking up a paintbrush for the very first time or returning to painting after many years, I will guide you step by step with simple lessons designed to help you gain confidence while enjoying every moment of the journey.
Imagine yourself five weeks from now…
Imagine sitting down with your paints feeling relaxed instead of intimidated.
Imagine looking at a flower and noticing colours, light and tiny details you had never seen before.
Imagine completing a botanical painting that makes you stop, smile and think, “I painted that.”
Most of all, imagine discovering a creative confidence that stays with you long after the course has finished.
This is much more than learning techniques.
Of course, I’ll teach you botanical painting.
You’ll learn how to mix colours, build delicate layers, understand light and shadow and bring flowers, fruit and leaves to life with watercolour.
But something else happens while you paint.
Your breathing slows.
Your mind becomes quieter.
The constant noise of everyday life begins to disappear.
You start noticing details that most people walk straight past.
Painting becomes less about producing a perfect picture and more about enjoying the quiet pleasure of observing, creating and expressing yourself.
That is why I called this course Beyond the Ordinary. Because once you truly learn to see nature, even ordinary things become extraordinary.
This course is for you if…
- ✓ You’ve always wanted to paint but never knew where to begin.
- ✓ You think you’re “not artistic” but secretly wish you could prove yourself wrong.
- ✓ You love flowers and nature and would like to see them with fresh eyes.
- ✓ You’re looking for a relaxing hobby that helps you slow down and escape the pressures of everyday life.
- ✓ You’ve painted before but lack confidence and would like gentle guidance.
- ✓ You’d love to create artwork that reflects your own personality rather than copying someone else’s.
- ✓ You’re ready to make a little more time for yourself and rediscover the joy of creating.
If you recognised yourself in several of these, you’re exactly who I created this course for.
During this course you will…
- ✔ Create two beautiful botanical paintings from start to finish.
- ✔ Learn essential watercolour techniques in a simple, enjoyable way.
- ✔ Understand how light, colour and observation bring a painting to life.
- ✔ Discover how to paint with confidence instead of striving for perfection.
- ✔ Develop the skills to continue your botanical painting journey independently.
- ✔ Learn to observe nature like an artist and notice beauty in places you may never have looked before.
- ✔ Enjoy moments of calm, mindfulness and creativity every week.
- ✔ Create artwork with your own personality instead of simply copying someone else’s style.

Meet your tutor
Hi, I’m Inessa.
I’m a botanical artist based in London with a lifelong passion for celebrating the beauty of nature through watercolour.
I have studied botanical art at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, completed a Diploma with the Society of Botanical Artists. I am a Fellow of the Linnean Society of London, a member of the Chelsea Physic Garden Florilegium Society and Society of Botanical Artists.
My work has been exhibited internationally and is held in private collections across three continents.
But beyond exhibitions and qualifications, my greatest joy is helping people discover something they often don’t realise about themselves.
Creativity isn’t reserved for talented artists.
It already exists within you.
Sometimes it simply needs someone to help you unlock it.
That is exactly what I hope this course will do.

A few questions you might have
What exactly is included in Beyond the Ordinary?
Five pre-recorded lessons, each around 45 minutes, that you can watch whenever it suits you. Across the five weeks you’ll complete two finished botanical paintings, plus your Botanical Art Calendar 2027 bonus. A materials list is emailed before the course begins, and you’ll have 3 months of access to revisit the lessons.
I’ve never painted before — is this really for me?
Yes. The course is built for complete beginners as well as anyone returning to painting after a break. Each lesson builds gently on the one before it, so you gain confidence step by step rather than being thrown in at the deep end.
What if I fall behind or can’t keep up with the pace?
There’s nothing to keep up with — every lesson is pre-recorded, not live, so you can watch, pause and paint entirely at your own pace, whenever your week allows it.
What materials or supplies do I need?
Nothing before you enrol. A full materials list — the exact paints, brushes and paper I use — will be emailed to you before the course begins, so you can gather everything in your own time and budget.
How long will I have access to the lessons?
You’ll have 3 months of access from the day the course begins, so you can watch, rewatch and paint alongside each lesson at whatever pace suits your week.
