“My journey began with a simple desire to slow down and truly observe nature.”

After many years working in international business I decided to follow a different path and began to paint. Through this process I discovered that plants hold not only beauty, but also emotion, character and a quiet sense of presence.

Today my work combines careful botanical observation with an emotional, often anthropomorphic approach — finding personality and mood in a flower or a vegetable, while staying rooted in precise, observational study. As a botanical watercolour artist based in London, I build each painting through delicate transparent layers, bringing vibrancy and life to every subject.

Painting also became an important part of my own healing and reflection during difficult periods in life. Through my work, I hope to bring calm, joy and a deeper connection to nature into people’s homes and everyday lives.

Alongside my studio practice I continue to explore how art can support wellbeing and attention. I am developing an online painting programme and workshops that encourage slow looking, patience and trust in observation, helping people reconnect with their creativity, build confidence and find a more grounded and meaningful relationship with nature through creative practice and observation over time.

I travel with a sketchbook. Wherever I go, my watercolours and brushes come too — capturing the beauty of plants in the different countries I visit, one quiet study at a time.
