BOTANICAL ARTIST · LONDON
Delicate hand-painted works that capture the
quiet beauty, emotion and individuality of
plants — each one painted slowly, as a portrait
with its own character.

— 01 MY STORY
From International
business to a brush
and a quiet plant.
“My journey began with a simple desire to slow down and truly observe nature.”
After many years working in international business I decided to follow a different path and began to paint. Through this process I discovered that plants hold not only beauty, but also emotion, character and a quiet sense of presence.
Today my work combines careful botanical observation with an emotional, often anthropomorphic approach — finding personality and mood in a flower or a vegetable, while staying rooted in precise, observational study. Working primarily in watercolour, I build each painting through delicate transparent layers, bringing vibrancy and life to every subject.
Painting also became an important part of my own healing and reflection during difficult periods in life. Through my work, I hope to bring calm, joy and a deeper connection to nature into people’s homes and everyday lives.

I travel with a sketchbook. Wherever I go, my watercolours and brushes come too — capturing the beauty of plants in the different countries I visit, one quiet study at a time.

— 02 A LITTLE HUMOUR
The painting that proved a point
Two years ago I decided to submit a botanical painting to a non-botanical exhibition — The Holy Art — to show that botanical art belongs far beyond botanical shows. To my surprise, it was a great success.
That moment sparked my Funny Fruit & Vegetable Collection — and the playful spirit that now runs through much of my work: finding the unexpected expression, the character, the quiet humour hiding inside an ordinary plant.

– 03 HOW I WORK
Slow, observed, painted by hand
Observe
I study the living plant closely — its shape, movement, texture and the small surprises that give it personality.
Layer
Working in watercolour, I build the painting through many delicate, transparent washes, letting colour and light slowly come to life.
Finish
Each original is signed by hand and numbered — a one-of-a-kind piece, made to live with you for a long time.
